Heliotis is pleased to announce the launch of a new fieldbus module that enables real-time communication between Heliotis Gen4 devices and other network participants. With this module, PLC systems (Programmable Logic Controllers) can retrieve status information and measurement results over the network as well as start image acquisitions.

The fieldbus module is available in two versions: EtherCAT and PROFINET.
